Software Engineer

User Interaction Engineer

Senior Sales Engineer, Northeast

WhiteHat Security, a dynamic, high-growth company recognized as industry leader that delivers unique, SaaS-based, web application security offering, is seeking a self-motivated, Sr. Sales Engineer, with a minimum of 5-10 years experience working with enterprise accounts at both executive and technical levels, coupled with significant experience working closely with channel partners.  Ideally located in New York, NJ, or CT (will consider Mid-Atlantic area).

The ideal candidate will be strongly qualified in the application security sector, and have experience working in a start-up environment.  Exemplary presentation and communication skills are required.
The company is privately held and the compensation package includes stock options and excellent medical benefits.

Primary Responsibilities are as Follows:

  • Become fluent with presenting business benefits and technical aspects of the service to prospects, partners, and customers
  • Provide training for technical counterparts of channel partners
  • Assist direct sales team and partners in completing RFPs
  • Be capable of delivering webinars, live presentations, seminars, etc.
  • Provide feedback to the internal development team
  • Interact with internal Security Operations team & Customer Support to help to manage prospect and customer technical issues

Primary Qualifications Include: 

  • Strong background in the computer security industry – Web application security is a big plus
  • Understanding of Web technologies, programming languages, platforms
  • Knowledge of software development practices is desirable
  • Able to travel (up to 50%)
